Overview

Jíës-cèkêno Ye was founded durring the early 12th century in winter of the year 1126, by Khiddas. The establishment of Jíës-cèkêno Ye was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Jíës-cèkêno Ye's construction back out of the project. Khiddas pushed on reguardles, and Jíës-cèkêno Ye was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Jíës-cèkêno Ye was built using the conventions of Iron Elvish durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Jíës-cèkêno Ye is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Jíës-cèkêno Ye is buildings are built arround a single premissive paverstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Jíës-cèkêno Ye's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. Unfortuantly, these unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Jíës-cèkêno Ye shows Jíës-cèkêno Ye is little more than a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is.
